Myanmar Historical Commission Golden Jubilee International Conference New! (12-14 January 2005)

The Myanmar Historical held its Golden Jubilee International Conference at Diamond Jubilee Hall, Yangon on 12-14 January 2005. Sixty-seven persons including 50 from 14 foerign nations read papers at the Conference.

''A Journey through the Myeik Archipelago" in cooperation with CNRS (France)

To promote cooperation in the study of history and tradition among Southeast Asian countries, and develop a greater regional identity through research, human resource development, education and linkages.
