To provide to the Southeast Asian generation in school a shared view of Southeast Asian history in its unity and diversity so as to create a greater sense of regional identity and perspective as a basis for meeting the challenges of the 21st century.

History of Southeast Asia: A Model Textbook for Secondary Schools in Southeast Asia based on the model curriculum and to be used as a guide and a sourcebook.

"Know Our History" texts prepared by each SEAMEO country to acquaint other SEAMEO countries of the viewpoints and approaches in the study and teaching of its national history.

Teaching aids and materials to be produced in digital and non-digital formats to support the teaching and learning of Southeast Asian history in secondary schools.

A programme to train secondary school teachers from SEAMEO countries and orient them to the model curriculum, model textbook and teaching aids and materials.
